Frequently Asked Questions
What are your rates? Our hourly consulting rate is $230 plus expenses. Most of our work is done on a project basis. We provide you with a detailed in a contract prior to beginning work with you that includes a project cost estimate. Our Executive Coaching rate is $1000 per month for a minimum of 3 months. Speaking fees range from $1000 to $5000 plus expenses. Our Web Development, Maintenance and Web Content services range from $150 - $185 per hour.
Do we have to pay upfront? 50% of the fee will be due before we begin, with the balance do within 15 days of the completion of the contracted services. For on-going monthly services or services covered under a 3rd party grant contract that requires monthly billing, we bill for services and expenses at the end of the month. Payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date.
Do you do Pro Bono work? Yes, each consultant takes on 1 pro bono client per year at their discretion for a specific service.
Will you help us with a proposal to cover your services? Yes, we will assist you with the information that you need regarding our services for your proposal.
Will you write grants for us? No, we will teach you how to position your organization to increase your ability to receive grant funding and teach you how to effectively seek grants funds but we will not write them for you. The 'give the man a fish & he will eat for a day, teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime' saying comes to mind here. We want to help you build an organization that is sustainable.
Is there any place you won't go? We haven't found one yet! We enjoy helping you help others in whatever part of the world that might be.
Where are you located? Sharon lives in St. Louis, MO. Robin travels full-time and works virtually or can come to you.
Can you get us on Oprah? While we can't make a call to Oprah for you, we can help you strengthen your organization so that you can make a difference that others will notice. Having a strong organization that makes a notable difference will help your organization stand out and increase the likelihood of being recognized by others. Are you two related? Yes, we are a mother/daughter team. Though sometimes people think we are sisters, much to Sharon's delight! We have worked together as a team to found and grow both Nurses for Newborns and Dynamic Change. We each bring a unique set of skills to the table and we both have a passion to make a difference in the world. This has proved to be a successful combination since 1989.
